Direction
I've been needing direction on where to land, the next step to what is next. My ideas of what I thought would be next completely changed. I thought, “ok, another twist, another turn, here we go. Let's look and see again.”
I talked to my grandmother recently who asked me, “What is the question?” I didn't seem to understand what she was saying. She said it again. “What is the question? We all have a question in life.” I realized I needed to look at my goals and then ask, “What do I need?” I needed to ask a question, and for me it had to do with international photography and my passion for Italy. As I thought about it a little more I could see that I was randomly searching for the next step without remembering the goals. When I refocused I could see the direction of my next step and what I needed became clear. I have many next steps, but to ask the question and see where I want to go seems to make so much more sense. Learning to stop to listen and see and then keep walking.
